In the winter the average wave height is 30 feet, some get up to 50 feet!

During the summer though, the Ocean is as smooth as a lake!

See the dark shadows in the water?  This is lava.  The water was as clear as anywhere I've ever been!

It was a WONDERFUL trip to Oahu.  If we ever go back, we'll spend much more time on the North Shore & hopefully the other islands!
